Prado Museum comes to Bogotá

Imagine coming up close and personal with 25 works of art and life-sized digital reproductions from one of the world’s most famous museums.

Plaza Bolivar, Parque de la 93 and the Miguel Urrutia museum will play host to pieces such as Diego Velázquez’s Las Meninas, Francisco de Goya’s El 3 de Mayo or “Los fusilamientos”, as well as works by Botticelli, Caravaggio, El Bosco and Rubens. The exhibition will include information from experts about the artists, the themes of their works and their styles. Running until October 7.
